Most of us would associate it with grandmas and dated décor, but there are a few artists willing to elevate it into something much more interesting. Shauna Richardson’s Crochetdermy combines crochet with taxidermy to make life-sized crocheted animals. Recently Richardson has taken her craft to its limits in a two year project to make three gigantic lions for the 2012 London Olympics.
